Federal & State Insurance: We accept insurance plans with Medicare, Medicaid, and State Child Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).

Medicare: Medicare pays for physical therapy that has been deemed “medically necessary” by a physician. To receive coverage, a doctor or therapist must set up the plan of treatment, and a doctor must periodically review the plan to see how long therapy will last. Innovative is a Medicare-approved therapy clinic and regularly treats patients who are covered by Medicare.

Medicaid/ SCHIP: In Kansas, Medicaid and SCHIP cover physical therapy. The therapy must be post-trauma/illness rehabilitation, and it must be prescribed by a physician. Innovative is a Medicare approved therapy clinic and regularly treats patients covered by Medicaid and SCHIP.

Workers Compensation: In Kansas by law employers must compensate heath care costs for employees who are injured on the job. This includes physical therapy. While employers must cover physical therapy costs, they may dictate where employees receive this care. Innovative is a preferred provider by many businesses in the community, so talk with your employer about receiving care with us here at Innovative.
