Farah Gohari
Physical Therapist
Farah Gohari is the founder, and the chief mentor of Innovative Physical Therapy
& Medical Spa. She graduated from Wichita State University in 1995 with a Master's
Degree in Physical Therapy. She is an industry expert in treatement of fibromyalgia,
acute and chronic tendonitis, neuropathy, musculoskeletal dysfunction, orthopedic
injuries, chronic pain, arthritis, post-surgical rehab and scar tissues. She is
an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical
Therapy Association.
Nick Notario
Physical Therapist
Nick Notario graduated from WSU in 2000 with an undergraduate degree in Exercise
Science, and received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 from WSU. He
has worked at Innovative Physical Therapy for nearly five years gaining experience.
He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kansas Physical
Therapy Association. He is interested in Sports Medicine or the recovery and return
to sports after an athletic injury, and post-op surgery patients returning them
to full function. He enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his wife who is
an RN at Wesley Medical Center.
Dr. Mark Swartz
Physical Therapist
Dr. Mark Swartz is from Wichita, KS. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology from Wichita State University in 2001, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy
from Wichita State University in 2008. As a Wichita resident for over 30 years,
Dr. Swartz enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fishing, and a myriad of
other outdoor activities. He has experience treating patients of all ages, with
interests in orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurological rehabilitation. He uses current
research and evidence based practice to evaluate and treat a patient’s problem to
decrease pain and restore them to their highest level of physical functioning possible.
He also is a strong advocate for developing APTA’s Vision 2020 goals: Autonomous
Practice, Direct Access, Evidence Based Practice, Professionalism, Practitioner
of choice, Doctor of Physical Therapy. He is an active member of the American Physical
Therapy Association and Kansas Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Swartz has also
worked with multiple eye doctors across the United States providing treatment for
vision disorders in adults and children, improving sports performance in athletes,
and helping children with vision related learning problems.
